Let's face it, from time to time us girls can use a girls night in. Now don't get me wrong, I love a good girls night out but most of the time I'd rather stay in with my girlfriends and watch some really good movies. Of course that, and some food that's no good for us will definitely do the trick! There could be a reason for the GNI; a fight with a bf, broke up with your bf, stress, something you wanted didn't go your way, or whatever it may be. Either way, call your best girl friends and have a nice night enjoying each others company while stuffing your faces! I love my girls, I honestly got blessed with them. When I'm in town, we do these girls nights quite often. We usually end up talking about our problems, talking about boys, or school, we might (guiltily) stalk some of our ex's. Now, let's get into some of the things you should or could do at a GNI! First, you're gonna need all your favorite junk food that's for sure! Then, grab your favorite romantic comedies (I'll list mine below). While you're watching these movies you could easily paint your nails, do each other's makeup (I promise girls do this for no reason) or even make at home face masks and wear them while you laugh your asses off at Bridesmaids. You even can make a few DIY projects (pinterest is your go to). Or if you and your friends are into the same TV shows you can just catch up on recent episodes thru Netflix or Hulu. Whatever it is that you and your friends may be into, never miss the opportunity for a good girls night in. Your friends are a big part of who you are, so take the time to catch up and do all your favorite activities together. Never forget to appreciate those moments you have with them. Trust me, one day you'll be telling your children about the time you laughed your butt off with your best friend and that one day you hope they find some forever friends like you did.
Now here are some of MY favorite Romantic Comedies:
I promise I could name a billion more but these are some of my top favorites. So if you happen to watch any of these for the first time let me know which one is your favorite or just what you think of it!
Until next time, xoxo

Let's Start Over
Well hello there! It's been a hot minute since my last post, just four months shy of a year. Man has a lot happened since the last time I've been on here writing. Not going to lie, I miss posting on my blog. I get to write everything I'm thinking, into, or wearing, and just put it out there for the world to read and let it all be released. But since it's been a while I'll slowly fill you in on what's happened since my last outfit of the day. As I look back on older post I realized I never really talked about my life in depth. But I recall writing plenty of drafts that never saw the published light of day on my page. I guess I just felt like my life was too boring but my interest were more fascinating, at least to me. So I jumped straight into what I was wearing as my first few blog post. Don't worry, an in depth post about myself is coming, I'm more just trying to find the right words to make myself seem more interesting than I feel I really am. But for now, we'll stick with a nice catch up post of over the last 9 months.
If I had to sum up how 2015 has been so far, I'd definitely say it's been a string of up's and down's. This year pretty much put me to the test of who I am as a person and the things/people I put value on. This test for sure hasn't been easy, but I'm thankful for it because I got to weed out a lot of unnecessary things in my life. First, was people, then old habits of how I dealt with certain situations. Not only did I see the true colors of those around me but also some true colors in myself. So the shorten version of that, some people had to go. I also lost a very special someone. They were taken away from my family way to soon and unexpected. But I'm slowly adjusting to life without them. Losing someone so close to you can hurt like hell, I've learned from experience and apparently so did a lot of people I care about. Not only did I lose one of the most important women in my life, I had a few friends lose some pretty incredible people as well. So if you're reading this and you've lost someone, I feel and understand your pain. I know those thoughts that run thru your head, or those overwhelming emotions that can't help but take over. I get it, I get it all. But what helped me thru it all was the amazing support system I have. It's not a big one but it's more than enough for me. I guess it's cause I realized I wasn't the only one going thru it. Knowing I wasn't alone brought a sense of comfort. It also really bonded a lot of my family. Now moving on, I hit some educational speed bumps along the way too. So for those in college and it's taking a little bit for you to get on your feet getting your degree, I FEEL YA TOO! Some words of encouragement, you'll get there. It may not be when or how you pictured it but eventually you will.
As this year is coming to a quick end, I PROMISE to post more. Like I said, I miss blogging and I really want to get back into it. I'm going to be traveling a little bit more so I can't wait to write about that. Plus, some really exciting things are going to be happening for some real special people and I can't wait to witness and be apart of it. Thank you for reading my ridiculously long post and check back within the next week for some new content.

• The Comfier The Sweatpants, The Happier I'll Be •
Let's keep this short and sweet; I'm the first to admit that I'd take sweats over jeans any day, hands down, no ragrats (yes, I spelled that wrong on purpose). Fashion is about the comfort for me, and slightly the discomfort. Today, I opted for the cute but casual look. I dressed up these semi harem sweats from H&M with a trendy necklace, tank top and some cute flats. Since it was a beautiful day I decided to take photos around my school. My school lacks a lot of things but a beautiful campus isn't one of them. Who says you can't be cute and comfortable? For my outfit it happens to be both, and I'm not mad at it. Till next time! xo.
Enjoy!

• Little Black Shorts •
If you're anything like me, black is most probably your favorite color. Although I love blue, reds, and white's there's no color like black for me. It's so classy and chic you can't go wrong when picking an outfit. Today, as I was looking for something to wear I stumbled across these little black shorts from Forever 21. It was one of those digging through tons and tons of clothes (which i'm sure my ladies understand) and finally finding this little gem. I've barely worn them in the two years I've had them and I decided to give it a go and pair it with my cute New York top that I brought from Topshop. I currently live in Florida so it's basically summer all year round. I decided to pair my shorts and shirt with a hat from BCBG and my favorite studded flats ever from Nine West Outlet that I got from back home in Chicago. I love the way this looked turned out, I kept it chic and casual but I could have easily added some black heels to give it a more dressy effect. It's all up to personal preference. For the running around I was gonna be doing today I opted for the flats which kept my outfit comfy and causal. I hope if you choose to recreate this look you add your own personal touch by adding heels, or a watch, even a little clutch if you decide to go out with your girls. Either way I'm sure you'll look fabulous. Till my next post, see ya!

• Back to School •
With August coming to an end the slow wind of school is upon us. Sucks? I know, BUT doesn't mean you can't go back without a new attitude and a little style inspiration. I'm a big fan of the youtube world and all the beauty channels who help create feel good outfit inspirations, clothing hauls, make up reviews as well as make up tutorials. That being said I've posted below a few of my favorite back to school looks from some of my favorite youtubers! Check it out, enjoy and in my next post I'll be sharing some of my back to school outfit inspiration since I go back to school on Monday!
